While the table of the instrument was in a fairly good condition, the one-piece, flat-cut rosewood back showed several cracks which had to be filled by splints. Textile reinforcements were replaced by wooden cleats and loose bars were reglued.

This instrument from the Yepes estate was used by its present owner, Raphaella Smits, for recording her Manjon CD in 1998.
